Microwave chocolate cake: the easy recipe

  1. Mix all these ingredients in a bowl  and whisk using an electric mixer.
  2. Next, take your cake, place it on a rack  and carefully cut it in half lengthwise.
  3. To do this, take a bread knife, place your hand in the center of the cake and cut it halfway up, going around the cake.
  4. Note that the same technique  is used to cut a sponge cake in half,  before filling it with cream.
  5. After cutting your cake, garnish it with the prepared cream. Let cool then enjoy your dessert.

How to prepare a chocolate cream sponge cake?

To prepare a sponge cake for 8 people, you will need:

  • 5 eggs
  • ½ cup fructose
  • ½ cup almond flour
  • 1/3 cup corn flour
  • 300 ml light cream
  • 100g melted dark chocolate
  • A pinch of icing sugar

How to do ?

  1. Separate the whites from the egg yolks then, in a large bowl, beat the egg whites using an electric mixer and gradually add the fructose,  while continuing to whisk the mixture .
  2. Next, add the egg yolks and beat to combine everything. Sift the flours, mix them together and whisk them into the egg mixture.
  3. Preheat the oven to 180°C,  then butter and flour your mold.
  4. Pour your dough into the mold and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Let your sponge cake cool after baking.

To prepare your chocolate cream, whip the cream in a bowl using an electric mixer  and gradually add the melted chocolate,  while stirring. Then, cut your sponge cake in half lengthwise  and garnish your cake with the chocolate cream.  Sprinkle a little icing sugar on the surface to decorate your sponge cake.
