4. Baking soda. Great for taking the itch out of insect bites and poison ivyPrevention says you can mix 1 teaspoon of baking soda with a teaspoon of water to create a paste for treating spots.

5. Aloe vera. Aloe vera can treat psoriasis. It soothes the skin and moisturizes at the same time. Home Remedies for Life says to combine 1 teaspoon of aloe vera, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 teaspoon of Shea butter. Apply the mixture on the psoriasis, and let it sit overnight. Wash it off in the morning. Repeat the application daily until the psoriasis is gone.

6. Honey. Honey has proven to be a moisturizer, healer, and anti-inflammatory product. To help relieve itchy skin, One Good Thing recommends applying warm honey for 15 minutes before washing it off. You can also mix honey with coconut oil, and rub it into the skin.

7. Petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly is great for healing itchy, dry skin that’s the result of an allergic reaction. Most people can handle petroleum jelly. WebMD recommends slathering the jelly onto the area. If the dry skin is on your hands, rub petroleum jelly on them, and wear a pair of gloves over night when you go to bed.
