I’ve playfully named this dish “Hubby’s Achilles’ Heel” since he just can’t say no to it


1 ribeye steak
2 tablespoons butter
2 sprigs of thyme or rosemary
1 clove of garlic, crushed, with its skin
Salt and pepper to taste

Tip: Triple the recipe for the 3 above.


1. Let the ribeye steak sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.

2. Season the steak generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
