3 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 onion, chopped
1 pound ground beef, cooked and defatted
2 cups of water
1 to 6 ounces of tomato paste
1 minced garlic clove
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon onion powder
